Bantam girls take 2-0 wiin

CHESTERVILLE – The South Dundas Bantam C House girls had mixed results in recent Ontario Women’s Hockey League action.

On Monday, February 1 the Lions collected a 2-0 victory over the visiting Kemptville Storm.

Jodie Hall posted the Lions’ first goal late in the first period with help from Jessica Rutley and Kaitlyn Veinotte.

They held onto their narrow lead until late in the third period when Melissa Stevens counted from Breanne Froats to cement the 2-0 Lion win.

On Sunday, January 31st, the girls settled for a scoreless tie against Russell.
